How do weighted grades work?

If finals are 40% and homework is 60%: (Final × 0.40) + (Homework × 0.60) = weighted average. Heavier weights count more.

What grade do I need on the final?

Use: Needed = (Target - Current × (1-FinalWeight)) / FinalWeight. Example: need 80%, have 85% with 30% final: (80 - 85×0.7)/0.3 = 68.3%
